About Our Church
"And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ." Ephesians 3:9OUR CHURCH
Our mission here at Grace Bible Church Augusta is first to proclaim the gospel of our salvation according to Paul’s gospel 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. And to make all men see what is the Fellowship of the Mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:9).
This is our mission as members of the body of Christ here on earth there is no place here for. Games role-playing and performing skits, too much of playing church we preach and teach the word rightly dividing the word of truth 2 Tim 2:15 our mission.
PASTOR NORMAN SHERMAN

My life purpose is to preach and teach the word of God, connecting the unchurched to God, inspire people to grow in their faith, and develop servant leaders. I shall endeavor to make a positive impact on our church. surrounding communities, and our city.
I was born in 1950 and raised in Albany, Georgia. I served in the United States Army for 21 years and began preaching the Gospel in Germany in 1985.
After retiring from the military, I started a small cleaning and maintenance business. I have been married to my beautiful wife Rachel for 50 wonderful years. I graduated from seminary and attended three other Bible schools as well. Regretfully, none of my training and schooling taught anything about right division and so I feel blessed that I eventually came across it through personal Bible study.
I sought out other preachers and teachers who were preaching about the Gospel of Grace and the Body of Christ and who understood Paul’s mandate about rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). I admit it was challenging but with God’s Grace we changed the name of our church to Grace Bible Church on 2015 and the rest is, as they say, history,
My life purpose is to preach and teach the word of God, connecting the unchurched to God and inspire people to grow in their faith and develop servant leaders. Endeavor to make a positive impact in our church. surrounding communities, and our city.
